  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano

How to Make The Best Pizza Sauce

If using canned plum tomatoes, pass the tomatoes through a food mill fitted with the coarse disc into a mixing bowl. Alternatively, you may also pulse the tomatoes briefly, using quick on/off bursts in the food processor. ( See Notes).

  • This recipe makes enough sauce for 4 extra-large pizzas or 7 large pizzas. Refrigerate extra sauce for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
