Preheat the oven to 375° F

Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper set aside.

In a small bowl, combine the sifted flour, and baking soda, set aside

In a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, add butter, salt, and both sugars and beat until light and fluffy.

Add the vanilla and eggs, beating between each addition just until mixed, scraping down the side of the bowl with a rubber spatula.

Add the flour mixture and beat on low speed, just until combined, scraping down the side of the bowl with a rubber spatula.

Fold in the chocolate chips and chocolate chunks until just incorporated. Cover with a plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1hour or until firm.

When the dough is firm, scoop about 2 tablespoons of cookie dough and roll into a round ball. Place onto the baking sheet allowing room to spread, pat down the cookies just a little, and press additional chocolate chips on top if desired.

Bake the Chocolate Chip Cookies for 10-12 minutes. Don’t over-bake and allow cooling on the wire rack. Store the Chocolate Chip Cookies in an air-tight container. Enjoy!
